Genocide in Gaza: Israel Resumes Ground Offensive with U.S. Support

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have intensified their ground operations in central Gaza, marking a significant escalation following the collapse of a two-month ceasefire. Airstrikes and tank incursions have devastated neighborhoods, leaving civilians with no safe refuge as border crossings remain closed.

Resumption of Full-Scale War

Over the past 24 hours, the IDF has pushed deeper into the Netzarim corridor, a strategic buffer zone that separates northern Gaza from the south. Israeli forces had previously withdrawn from this area as part of the initial phase of the ceasefire, but the latest offensive has reversed much of the diplomatic progress made during the temporary truce.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has warned that another wave of mass evacuations will soon be ordered, signaling further displacement of Palestinian civilians.

“Take the advice of the U.S. President. Return the hostages and eliminate Hamas, and other options will open up for you—including going to other places in the world for those who wish,” Katz said in a video statement Wednesday.

Humanitarian Crisis Worsens

Gaza’s Health Ministry reports that at least 436 Palestinians, including 183 children, have been killed since the renewed military operation began.

Hospitals across Gaza are collapsing under the pressure, with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) warning that medical facilities are critically under-resourced.

“Due to the recent suspension of humanitarian aid into Gaza, stocks of medical supplies have dropped significantly and on top of this, hospital staff are struggling to manage the sharp increase of casualties,” the ICRC stated.

With border crossings into Egypt closed, civilians are left with nowhere to flee. Aid organizations have sounded the alarm over the humanitarian catastrophe unfolding as food, water, and medical aid remain severely restricted.

Netanyahu: ‘This Is Just the Beginning’

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared that the military operation will continue indefinitely, vowing that negotiations with Hamas will take place “only under fire.”

Netanyahu also expressed gratitude for U.S. military assistance in countering attacks from the Houthis in Yemen, signaling broader regional tensions.

U.S. Greenlights Israeli Strikes

The White House has confirmed that it was aware of Israel’s renewed military offensive and has not opposed the strikes. This comes after President Donald Trump floated a controversial plan proposing the forced expulsion of Palestinians from Gaza, a move widely condemned by international organizations as ethnic cleansing.

With no diplomatic resolution in sight, the situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate, raising urgent concerns over the fate of civilians trapped in an escalating warzone.
